No. If you pre-ordered before the June 30 then then next shipments late August, early Sept. Hopefully sooner. If you ordered after it may take a while.

Well that certainly depends. I pre-ordered in march 1 day after a friend. We ordered the same place. My friend got his camera thursday last week, I have been told I probably get mine in september. Then another friend that also pre-ordered the same place decided 2 weeks ago to order in a different shop and got the camera today. (this is in Denmark)

One also cannot overlook the possibility that this is a Chinese propaganda hit-piece designed to give Japan trouble by attacking a name brand item. I would rather have a tear-down review done by Lens rentals on this issue before I consider it absolute fact.

Couldn't agree more.
I exactly had the same thing come to my mind after reading that article.

Very impressive. I saw your comment on Ron B's video. I am a regular with Ron's guide service. We were out this past weekend.

I think I will order one of these. My experience with the original R was not favorable but this is a different beast. I got to play around with Ron's copy on Sunday and I think it is a new world......love your images!

The animal AF is what sold me; no time wasted on the AF system dealing with leaves, branches, background, phantom subject distances, etc. I just hope my R5 is delivered before the bulk of the fall bird migration.
