My new Gen 6 2020 Camaro LT1.

It's been a while since I've posted in here... but after selling my camera gear and regretting it... I've re-invested.

To celebrate, here's a couple of the the last shots I took 6 years ago!

That's a sweet ride. It is a '55-'57 with the oval rear window. Much nicer than my first car - but I only paid $180 for it in 1969!

Yes, indeed, a sweet ride. There used to be another early Beetle tooling around in Orange County, similar to this one but even more special. It had literally every single option/add-on that could be provided by the factory, including a sort of a built-in boot-scraper on the running boards, a rooftop rack and all kinds of other features - and, it was like a time-capsule, all original and very low mileage. One owner from new !

I spoke with the guy and he had the coolest story about it, where (IIRC) way back when he was traveling on business up in Vancouver B.C., and he'd seen this loaded VW in the dealer showroom. He went in, interested and wanting to buy, but the dealership was keeping if for display and wouldn't sell it. So he gave the sales guy his card and said he'd stay in touch, and every now and then, he would check in, and the answer was always "no" - for years. Well finally, after a few decades passed, they decided that they'd sell him the car, so he was stoked. But this little car was so special by then that according to the now-owner, when he filed transfer papers with the Canadian government, they tried to stop the deal, saying that it was a sort of a national treasure ! Finally after much wrangling, he got the car across the border, and he's had it ever since. I wish I had a photo of that car, but I'm pretty sure I never had the chance.

Interesting details.
Care to identify the car, for those of us who don't know?

Sorry, forgot.
The vent is from an Audi RS3, the transmission selector is from an Audi S8.
Having the 50/1.8 kinda saved me, since both cars were parked in rather dim places (the weird light is also why there's still a purple tint on the RS3 Dash), and I had to shoot handheld.
