That lens (Canon EF-S 55-250mm STM) definitely outperforms it's price-point. Lovely captures, Mark.

Glad you like it. I have gone from M3 to M6 to M6m2. I love these bodies and the mark 2 is really great. What lenses do you have? If you don't have the 22mm, I can't recommend it highly enough. I also have the Sigma 16 and it's a really nice setup as well. A little big but totally worth it.

Our 2 little puppies are driving the old man nuts, but he is enjoying all the treats and toys he is getting now.

I seem to have a love/hate relationship with the M. Had the original, sold it. Had the M5, sold it. Had the M50, sold it. My biggest gripe with he M was Canon never really seemed committed to faster lenses. Went to MFT for small kit, just never felt “right”. Selling off my MFT stuff and giving the M6 II a go, seems a better compliment to the R and R5 (once it gets here...). Performance improvements over previous versions seem nice, pretty sure I’ll stick with his one.

More of a zoom guy, but the 22mm is a must. Got the kit with 18-150mm via Cpricewatch. Local store had the Canon EF adapter, 22mm, and 15-45mm all in the used case, $265 for all three. Also got a good deal on a used Sigma 8-16mm and new Tamron 18-400mm lenses to use with the adapter. Pretty complete kit and I still have a few EF lenses (100mm f/2.8L, 100-400mm II). On the fence about getting the 11-22mm, it would be overlap, but a great compact lens and range for indoors.

A couple more shots...
