Very nice greenie capture, Shalu! You definitely like to shoot, as long as there is the slightest amount of light available. :-P:lol:

Thank you very much, Mike! I was done for the day, but I saw my friend shooting this one on my way back to the car, so I stopped and took a few shots before leaving :-P

Hi shalu,
I was wondering if you took these and other wonderful images of peregrine falcons in Point Fermin Park in San Pedro, CA. I was visiting my friends in mid June last year and accidentally ran into a group of photographers who were trying to take pics of a couple of peregrines that had a nest on the cliffs. It was a short trip, I didn't expect birding and had only a 40-150mm lens on my Oly. But I spent some time with these nice people and managed to take some falcon pics. I also tried to shoot flying pelicans there, but with 150mm I didn't have enough reach. You can see my results (considerably cropped) below

Thank you, you got some very nice shots there too. I visited Point Fermin as well as Point Vicente park last year, end of July/early August. If I remember correctly, that photo was from Point Vicente park.

I see. It makes sense. You were there a bit later, when the young ones were quite big. Terrific locations. Thanks for answering!
