Thanks, Mike, the hummingbird wildflower seeds that I planted at the beginning of this summer is blooming nicely in a variety of colors. Turns out, though, these are more popular with Lesser Goldfinches than the hummers.

I very rarely see less goldfinches in my neighborhood, but we have lots of hummers, due to all the folks with feeders.

I'm going to go with a chipping sparrow, SYS. But with the numerous species we have, it's easy to be wrong. Whatever it is...it's a nice shot!
