This looks to me like it probably is the Mackinac Bridge!

Indeed it is. Generally on the weekends I am on the north side, however, I tend to avoid crowds of people so I stay home on holiday weekends. It's quite the impressive bridge though, no doubt. Especially the view from it while crossing!

My wife and I vacationed in the upper peninsula after being married in our first year in 1973. We stayed in a cabin on a lake up there, but have no idea anymore what lake it was on. Beautiful country up there!

I love it in the 'UP.' It's without a doubt a hidden gem - I believe Henry Ford referred to it as 'God's Country.'

You had a perfectly beautiful day with such a very clear blue sky for a wonderful backdrop!

We had 10 daze in Venice a few years back and to my amaizment I can't find any of the photos I took whilst there!

But Fotoi, yours is to typical of the cité and brings back some lovely memories.

Those photos must be lurking on an HDD somewhere?-?-?

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!
