I'm still on the fence as to buy a A9ii to go with my A7Riv or the Canon R5, I still have several Canon lenses and only one Sony lens.... but I really like my A7Riv now that it works so good with my 200-600 after the latest firmware update. I will take my time on this decision.

Canon R6 II, RF 800mm.
I like what I like.

At this point I *think* I've settled down with the A7Riv and my A9. Most of my Canon glass works well adapted on both Sony bodies.

I just need to find a good deal on a Sony 200-600 and a 1.4 extender.

I am retiring in 205 days, so the gear I have now is going to have to do until it doesn't work anymore. All my money is going in to savings for my retirement move. I still have a Canon 500 f4, but it works well enough on my Sony's when I feel like hurting my shoulder :p. I am still very pleased with the results I get with the gear I already own.

Thanks Richard!
That was in Yellowstone on a trip a couple years ago.
We looked again this year but the swans were not there, a bit early I think.

I'm supposed to be doing the same thing! I just went under the year mark this off week for 360 days left.
My gut tells me the world situation just might prevent a true retirement :(
I'm hoping to add just one more lens before the money stops rolling in, a 500mm diffractive from Fuji I hope, or since the R5 will be here, one from Canon. I don't think
Sony will give one up. Yes, an F5.6 lens...don't mention Canon's RF 600 or 800. That F11 won't work here.

I am reliving the fiasco that getting PlayMemories to work was several years ago...my friend TJ is going through it right now trying to get Smooth Reflections installed...SR is the primary reason he went with the A7r2 over a newer body, like me he likes LE...still need to get him to join us here.

I am not the bag person. I used a simple shoulder bag for 10+ years that I got free when I bough a canon point and shoot. Right now for A7rIV and 28-75mm I use a tenba messenger, don't sure which model but it works pretty good.

Maybe something like this...

I have all of my chargers in one of them...3 for the r2 and 2 for the a9/a7iii and the charger that does my flashlight. it is almost 8" square. It has a divider in the middle to help keep things apart.

I have an affiliate link...;-)ahttps://www.thinktankphoto.com …liates?rfsn=990091.d769ad (external link)

My apologies for not acknowledging your suggestions earlier, somehow I missed them both. Thanks very much for the suggestions. I do appreciate it.

PlayMemories is painful... I used it to install SR and "touch less shutter" (my favorite) and have not used it ever since.

Time to up my timelapse game...I still can't believe that all that gear was included for the price of just the Genie Linear.
