Do you know what castle that is on the hill Lee? I really like the subtle colors on this shot too.

The cage for my Sony ZV-1 arrived today and it looks and fits great. I really like the Arca compatible base although because I'm showing it on my large Arca Swiss Monoball Z1, I moved the camera off center so I can still access the battery and memory card. I show it here with the door open to demonstrate that. You can click-zoom into the large version of this image on my Flickr page.

My PD Everyday Sling 3L arrived today too and I'll see how everything I want to store in it fits later.

Anyone got any suggestions for a bag that will take the A7RIII and 24GM only. Want it to be as small as possible to take that combo. Don’t need extra space for anything else

Dustin Abbott released his Sigma 85mm Art reviews a while ago. This lens looks quite good.

I asked Dustin on Twitter if he prefers the Sigma more than the Samyang (a lens he highly recommended before) and he said "The rendering is close, but the Sigma is definitely a more complete package".

I will hate myself again but looks like another 85mm switch is in the cards for me...

Playing with the E 70-350G in my backyard. Dark dark dark here.
First as shot. Then processed. Zooms and their slowness will always be a challenge
but I think the Riv's ability to be pulled and pushed isn't so shabby.

I need something like that for long hikes. Today was brutal. I carried my Batis 18, Loxia 21, Sony 55, and Sony 100-400 along with tripod. Only used my Batis :-P

1800 ft elevation gain

And this is why I still prefer the Sony sensor over the Canon...dynamic range and very malleable raw files.

And of course, the day you go on a hike without everything, you'll wish you had it with you. Murphy's Law at work here. :p

Think tank digital holster 5. L bracket will not fit. Hip bag but straps included for shoulder

Mindshift Photocross 13...more of a sling but it has a strap to keep it from sliding around too much. I like mine for scouting hikes where I don't want much gear.
