I think the Peak Bags have good shoulder bag options.

I need something like that for long hikes. Today was brutal. I carried my Batis 18, Loxia 21, Sony 55, and Sony 100-400 along with tripod. Only used my Batis :-P

And this is why I still prefer the Sony sensor over the Canon...dynamic range and very malleable raw files.

I'll admit the Riv files aren't as forgiving as the Riii (or Rii) but still one can work them. Soon enough I'll be comparing to the 45mpx R5...will be
a curiosity.

Thanks sir! I’ll admit it was hard getting up at 4 am. Felt good to get some shutter therapy despite lack of clouds this morning.

I’m not sure how I can calculate calories burned. I ate a lot when I got home though.

And of course, the day you go on a hike without everything, you'll wish you had it with you. Murphy's Law at work here. :p

Yes! I’ll bet I will run into an elk on my next hike and won’t have my 100-400.

Anyone got any suggestions for a bag that will take the A7RIII and 24GM only. Want it to be as small as possible to take that combo. Don’t need extra space for anything else

I use a MountainSmith fanny pack, that I swing in front of me for real easy access. You ware it around your waste.

Got my Tamron 28-200mm. So I went on a scouting trip. I am not a landscape person. Sky was boring so I tried to remove it.

I have the peak design 5 litre sling bag, this works fine for a single camera and lens. also a couple of pockets for spare battery and lens cleaning stuff.
Also as its the older model you can find these going a bit cheaper.

Yeah my main bag is the 10L sling but I don’t think there’s anything small enough for the camera and 24GM only. Even the 5P can take an extra lens. I have a mirror less mover that fits the camera and cv40 only but it’s slightly too small for the 24GM otherwise that would have been perfect

3L can definitely fit, but it’s a tad bigger. I have it packed with the Mic, 24GM, and 85 1.8 for an upcoming trip. It’s packed to the brim..... gorilla pod or tripod strapped to the outside (haven’t decided which to bring). I have another minimalist messenger bag (lowepro messenger), the camera compartment fits the 24GM and the rest of the bag for non photo equipment, quite different from typical camera bags. It’s my baby bag, when I need children supply but also a small camera setup.
