Does a museum venue count as legitimate?

This is from the "Rock Star's cars and Guitars" exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum some several years ago.

I really enjoyed seeing Billy Gibbons' "Eliminator" coupe, among others.

Wow
Eclectic lot.
They'd belong in any car show. They're on show permanently by the looks of that :-)

Love the lawn mower. They race those things here

There's also Janis Joplin's ride:

Awesome.
Did these vehicles actually get driven in the streets, highways?
Can't imagine why not, but curious.

They were all driven in under their own power, as I was led to believe.

I especially like Hetfield's Buick and Alice Cooper's 'baby.'
Notwithstanding Billy Gibbons' Eliminator, those were the finest
in my eyes.

Dunno, really.
I expect a few were on the roads, while others have never been.

Sir Jackie swaps caps with a fan (momentarily - he wasn't about to give up his tartan for keeps!)

Though he looks a bit angry in the shot, he was just kidding around - a good sport always.

If I remember correctly, he was spokesman for some prominent brand advertising in the US.

ROLEX was the big one(still is, apparently), but among other appearances:

If I recall correctly from reading his book, he had the cuff of his shirts shorter on one arm to ensure his Rolex was always visible. The consummate professional, business man and driver - my hero :-)
