xt4 + sigma 18-35, + 3stopND + proMist filter= washed out photo.. but worked great for video.., (the setup was for video, but grabbed a few quick photos) below photo of my son friend and below that one , my son with his friend , we shot a music video for his friend that day with the xt4.. I think Fuji finally got it good enough that I can eliminate the gh5.
AF in video is usable for most , in this particular scene it was tough because back lit and filters made for a washed out look, but still it worked well enough.

just some frame grabs of the music video I shot.

first shot is sooc , used eterna , Nd only no promist.
2nd shot is with some grading and using 'filmconvert' lut as a base.

in this type of situation the xt4 AF worked very well with the sigma 18-35

for this outdoor shot we did used the promist filter

again first shot is sooc using eterna
2nd is with grading..

colors aren't final,
and yes , my skies are blown out.. its ok, backlit and I knew it be overexposed.
I used 200% hoping that would help on dynamic range.. I have to explore what 100% vs 200 vs 400 really does and if its really beneficial for video.. its a feature I've never messed wtih

Have you tried HLG for bright skies, I find it works great. ISO1000 base though so lots of ND that and reflectors make for a good day

Thanks! Yeah, it's only a few hours from where I live now and it's much the same story here. For being in a temperate rain forest, it actually rains far less than I feared from what I was warned about... we're actually going on 3 days right now without any rain at all, which is very unusual for the region.

We didn't make it to Europe for our honeymoon, but Helen GA feels close enough

I highly recommend the Old Heidelberg if you do find yourself there, it was fantastic.

Nope they are way way off. Are you using AWB? Jpegs or RAW? I am not the color guy who can pick small color casts but here there is something going on.
