In complete contrast to The Ghost's fantastic photographs.
This is a little lighthouse at the start of a river estuary by Agon, Normandy.

Nice photo! Was it a bit of a hike to get there? I've been planning to do this for a while now but unfortunately haven't been able to.

CC always welcome.

I think the hike would have been pretty long through the sand, luckily I had a ride out through the dunes.

Yeah, that would work! I don't think I can count on that though. Well, hopefully sometime soon.

Looks like there's a path away from the beach from the airport and park service parking lot. Still, it would be about four miles of walking round trip. I had wanted to visit that one some years ago, but we didn't have an extra day to do it. I still got a lot of the other Cape Cod lighthouses, but I'm going to keep Race Point on my wish list.

That calculation looks about right, definitely worth the visit for the semi seclusion and the amount of wildlife. Appreciate the kind words!

Yes, exactly. And I would like to get there for either a sunrise or a sunset, which would mean a 2 mile hike in the dark. I need to find someone else just as crazy as me! :-)
