I am thinking about buying it but I have adobe premiere with my discounted subscriptions.

A7c leaked. Cool looking rangefinder style camera. There's a bit of a "hump", but really compact. Looks like there is an exposure compensation dial which correcrs my biggest beef with the a6xxx bodies.

I kinda like the retro look of it. Is that a new lens too?

Looks cool...tempting but I can't justify a 4th camera body...

I dont get it ..... Its going to compete with the 7III AND the Rx1r series???????? isnt that a lot of cannibalization?

I'm probably going to sell the a7rIII. I don't like having any more than two bodies. That means this camera has to be good enough to take on second body duties though. We'll see.

Yes I don't have to skin this one lol. Looks like the new lens!

Its still not as compact as the Rx1 series...that's sort of a specialized product line since its a fixed lens camera.

a7III is due for an update, so in some respects, this is a true replacement to the a7III as the entry level offering. I suspect that the a7IV will move upscale in the product portfolio....priced at the a7rIV point, with performance that is similar to the R5

I keep swinging between being intrigued by the a7c and thinking what’s the point. I’ll wait for the reviews to see what it’s truly about. I’m curious to see if it has 10bit video

Click on a single image in the series and grabs it as an entire clip. Premiere is a mess from what I recall, but has a lot more support from a large user base.

This one is on my radar as a replacement for my aging A7ii. I’ve longed for a FF in and A6xxx series body and this meets those desires. Looks like most of the specs will suit my needs perfectly fine (don’t really do video or high speed shooting).

They have removed the custom buttons from the top, which is crappy, but hopefully the back is well laid out.

The main issue appears to be price. If it’s near or at $2k USD as rumoured, then it seems very high given the feature set. It should be closer the Nikon Z5 pricing at least - $1400 - $1500 USD.

My ShutterBands Bump Buttons arrived today and I've been wondering how to handle those small buttons to precisely place them where I want them to be on my ZV-1. Then I remembered the Lens Sucker I bought some time ago to help remove the lens elements on my old film cameras for cleaning. I think the small suction cup might be just the right size.

I haven't tried it yet so I'll have to report back how well, or even if, it worked.
