Gotta love our Scotties the little guy with the big guy attitude

Boris certainly has the attitude, but he's a big Scotty at about 28 lbs, and strong. He'd be a great sled dog if he ever decided he wanted to pull a sled.

Cuteness! I was lucky last evening to see the Red Squirrel baby come out of it's tree hole for the first time yesterday evening. The sun was setting but f2.8 worked wonders.

Why does everyone else in the world have cooperative non-flyaway bugs but me?

My first real camera was a Canon F1. That was a long time ago.

They're not all so cooperative, which is why I was so glad to find that the R5 plays so well with the 100-400.

Someone please test the Canon 100-400mm II with 1.4xTC and 2.0xTC on R5/R6 and let us know how the AF is especially for fast moving subjects like BIF.
Really appreciate it.

Living things get a lot more cooperative after culling images.

Sorry, this was intended to be a reply to RNDMAN's post.

This was taken with the R6 using the 1.4x extender on the 100-400 lens. No problem at all with this combo. I've also used the 2x for still birds and again no issues.

That is what I am using with or without teleconverters. I have only been out shooting with this combo a couple of times but it seems to be working ok. These four images were from one two hour trip to local wetlands.

All of these with the 2.0 TC
