Shufu you've got some pretty cool spiders! What do you do with the dead spiders after photographing them? If you aren't already doing so you should consider putting them in ethanol and bringing them to a local research institution.

I picked up a new EOS R body yesterday, and found this little Green Jumping Spider in the backyard, so I tested it out with the 100L:

What was your magnification setting on the MP-E65mm? I'm sure shooting at f/5.6 helped keep diffraction well under control too. What was your lighting setup? Using a 0.6sec shutter speed was because you were using continuous lighting? Thanks again for posting the shot :-). All of this might be enough for me to pull out my MP-E65mm and either my 90D or 5D4 ;-)a.

I belive I was using x2 on the magnification and I have 2 work lights at 45 degrees defused....break that bad boy out
