Bit off topic here but a pro photographer friend of mine started a podcast recently. He’s had a range of guests from professional boxers to actors so far and the latest one was with me:). So if any of you guys across the pond wanted to hear what my accent was like here it is - https://open.spotify.com …si=wregU9BrQ-WXeQPjxfDGTQ (external link)

It’s over an hour long so I won’t be offended if you only listen to 30 seconds of it :D

Yep, I'd say you have a bit of a Scots accent. :-) It's interesting that you type without any local colloquialisms that I can tell but I think I hear them in your speech. Aye? ;-)a I wonder if you have problems understanding an American accent at times?

Thanks for sharing the interview. I enjoyed listening to it although I admit I didn't listen to all of it.

I have not had the chance to use mine at high levels yet but the A9 mk 1 I have used to about 6400 without any issues.
I might give it a try tonight.

I don’t even notice that I say ‘aye’ all the time and don’t notice when everyone else says it too here :). I don’t have any issues understanding American accents but every time I’m in the states or Canada people understand everyone I’m with and never me. I normally speak faster than in that podcast which is usually the issue

The photographer who does the foggy photos, are you thinking of Henri Prestes?

I bet the accents change after a few beers !

I googled him there and it’s not that guy although those are some pretty cool shots.

Good luck understanding anything I say after a few beers :)

a CPU issue it it...it maxes out.
Just after this screenshot it tapped out at 100% and then I shut it down. It really is time for a new machine...but life is happening in crazy ways and I just can't divert that kind of cash to it right now. my photo fund is now empty after the Syrp gear...

Have you considered color grading the entire jpeg collection ( inDavinci) instead of raw files? Won’t be as pretty, but not nearly as taxing. Costs nothing.

I recently hiked up to some nearby mountains in Colorado at elevation 12,000 ft. Hiked in the dark for several miles to reach this spot in time to catch this beautiful sunrise.

Really truly amazing stuff. I really like the post-processing and the color toning.

I actually just switched to Premier Pro. The color grading is so much easier and intuitive.

You can try to match footage , assuming premiere has that feature. So you can process a single frame in Lightroom, then use as a reference file for matching. It won’t get you a perfect match, but close.
