Thanks Paul. I can get to them about an hour away. More shooting this Friday when I’m off work.

Robert your droplet shots always intrigue me. Beautiful.
What would the effect be in a cross wind?
Wonder if they'd perform or just not work at all?

Don't stop. Your images are a bright spot in my day.

Lately I've been feeling like I shouldn't be posting my images here. Just feels like I'm being insensitive with everything going on in people's personal lives and the negativity around the world.

If I didn't have photography I would go insane...it is our outlet...if we stop...we will suffer...well I know I will.

After overcast skies for too much of my time at Reelfoot...as the day progressed, the clouds started to give way to blue skies just in time for sunset. Reelfoot is more of a sunrise lake but I managed to make it work.

To find a composition among the chaos of the forest is a challenge. I figured this one had potential so I captured it. I like the way the taller aspen trees on the right catch the light on their trunks. A young aspen is proudly displaying its bold color.

Hello all! Long time no see! COVID has pretty much shut down our photography work with everything being shut down in California. I had 3 weddings and 2 events cancelled. Caught a little break from the fires last week and had a little 1st birthday session. I've been wanting to go out and shoot for myself but my other business has been so busy that I haven't had time or just felt wiped out.

Speaking of Disney, my wife and I are annual passholders for Disneyland. We miss roaming the parks! We've gone down (I live in Norcal near Sacramento) twice in September just to meet friends at Downtown Disney. My wife and I have a trip planned for the end of this month to spend 7 days at WDW and visit all the parks. I plan on bringing my a7iii with the Tamron 28-75/2.8. I was thinking of picking up a budget wide angle lens like the Samyang AF 18/2.8. I wanted to pick up the Tamron 17-28/2.8 but I probably shouldn't spend that much this close to our trip lol. Have any of you used the Sammy AF 18? Also, am I crazy for wanting to lug around the Sigma 105 art?

I would be crazy to take my Sigma 105mm f1.4 to the Disneyland. I may do it if I was doing some shoots inside the park and was by myself.
