They nest and breed here in SFl so we get to see them as Juvies. They slowly turn blue and the in between stage is cool too! Here is one that is transitioning.

A couple shots from a local indoor conservatory. These birds are pretty used to people which is the only way I was able to get shots with a 100mm macro lens!
