Actually yes. The smoke is as high as the jet stream, and has travelled across the country.
For the last couple of days, the sunsets and rises look exactly the same.

Not really a great photo, but walking Sir Winston yesterday morning and the clouds were very colorful. All I had with me was an iPhone 7+. Colors would have disappeared by the time I went back for a real camera.
