mkkaczy Senior Member  More info | Thanks. Most of my shots are very little cropped, even with 400mm on FF camera. Dedication, good hide and be in place at right time - usually when is still dark.   http://500px.com/mkkaczy

What is this thing?? The second picture with the netting... is this part of a "hide"? If it is, it does not look like it would be easy to get into..... In the first picture it is a base part of my hide, basically a foam mat or two which protects me from a cold of wet muck. Well, not always, especially when the tide is in.  And no, it's not always easy to get under the camo mesh, especially someone very big, like me. This is with extra grass cover  And if I can't get really close to the subject from the shore, then I use floating platform  http://500px.com/mkkaczy
