If I were behind your camera, I think I'd be a bit nervous. ![]() Nice shot, by the way. Just a reminder to those whom are going to national parks/wildlife areas. Lens rentals are cheap, maybe 1/10th of what most spend on a vacation. Renting a lens = even better results while still giving wildlife some space: Image hosted by forum (1067890) © markesc [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. mkkaczy Senior Member More info | Thanks. Most of my shots are very little cropped, even with 400mm on FF camera. Dedication, good hide and be in place at right time - usually when is still dark. http://500px.com/mkkaczy

mkkaczy Senior Member More info | Oct 13, 2020 14:57 | #20561 Thank you. For sure it is. Inspeqtor wrote in post #19137845 The first photo, I have no idea what you are showing us. What is this thing?? The second picture with the netting... is this part of a "hide"? If it is, it does not look like it would be easy to get into..... In the first picture it is a base part of my hide, basically a foam mat or two which protects me from a cold of wet muck. Well, not always, especially when the tide is in. And no, it's not always easy to get under the camo mesh, especially someone very big, like me. This is with extra grass coverIMAGE LINK: https://imageshack.com/i/f0PsQ8j2j And if I can't get really close to the subject from the shore, then I use floating platformIMAGE LINK: https://imageshack.com/i/pczvohb4j http://500px.com/mkkaczy
