I was sitting on the dock at a local lake today, watching this coot dive for seaweed. I typically don't photograph coots, but I figured I'd see if I could get a cool splash shot. This one was in the middle of a short burst. The payload was not visible in any other shot.
Hmmmm.......

My winter friends have arrived back in our area. Today was the 1st time I've seen them this fall.
