Melissa this is a beautiful image, the rendering of the water is exceptionally nice.

Thanks, I rarely shot birds but this guys was very co-operative this morning. Background rendering from the Canon 200F2 has always been one of my favourites.

This is great too. Lovely lighting. Maybe you should try this more often! For rarely shooting birds these are really great.:-)

Thanks, I'm primarily a landscape shooter but I also enjoy shooting birds on occasion, I need some longer glass though.:-)

Terrific drake wigeon shot, fotoi! The colors and the birds pose are both very nice.

Thanks Mike. It's a pleasant day when I first see the returned (for the winter) White Pelicans. I just love photographing them.

How's the R5 working? Samples I seen indicate things are going well. :-)

It's working out quite well, Phil. The only thing that I don't like is, having to always have my 1.4 TC on it. With the 100-500 Canon zoom, I'm shooting with an aperture of f/10 most of the time. At the pond I go to much of the time, I just cannot get that close to my targets.
