When I saw this sunset I knew I had to try to capture it reflecting off my sisters pond, quick two minute drive from my place got there just in time!

Bummer on the fire, I sure hope it will not get near you....... but the fire/smoke did help your photo!!!

On our Backpacking trip last month, the fires is the Sierras were in full swing.
The night before we summited Mt. Whitney we thought the Sunset would be obliterated by the smoke because this is what we were greeted with:
