Bummer on the fire, I sure hope it will not get near you....... but the fire/smoke did help your photo!!!

On our Backpacking trip last month, the fires is the Sierras were in full swing.
The night before we summited Mt. Whitney we thought the Sunset would be obliterated by the smoke because this is what we were greeted with:

This one day we relocated a loved one from a Hospital back home (Hospice) and while driving some furniture to storage I looked out the rear view mirror, and had to stop. The person with me thought "We lost a mattress or something".. But we did not. I had seen this:

A handful of photos mean a lot to just me. This one was calm and warmth. Things will always eventually turn out O-Tay.

(Redness of the sky was due to the many active fires)
