A foggy Clingmans Dome. It was nice and clear driving up the mountain, but heavy cloud cover started rolling in as we approached. I was hoping to get a nice grand view, but we could hardly see anything. I was able to pull off a few moody shots. I love this eerie atmosphere. Turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones.

I took this shot a few years ago at a local wildlife refuge. I just rediscovered it after going through my old pics.

Fog seeping into the east end of St. John's Harbour yesterday - Cabot Tower, cannon batteries on Signal Hill

(This was taken with an EF-S lens on a full frame Canon, cropped of course. The old 18-200 is easy to "pop" - no cutting or filing - and causes no mirror interference. Not my normal combination though ;-)a )

That's very nice. Seep! Apt description for fog.
Love the way the lower part just shows some background.
Very nicely captured

Thank you and thank you.

A writer many years ago said that Newfoundland was notable for both fogs and dogs.
