Wonderful old (yet probably rebuilt) covered bridge. Good angle and right time of the year for that shot. Look at those beautiful stone piers!

Thanks David.

It actually was rebuilt about 25 years ago after a fire (arson) destroyed the original. They used original methods on the re-construction including wooden pegs everywhere instead of nails/bolts/screws.

Very cool they rebuilt the bridge using the original methods! Do you know when the bridge was first built?

The famous Ashness Bridge in Cumbria. Always worth getting your feet wet at this location to get the water rushing past you.

Might be time to ease up on the medication, OhLook. :-D

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll give it serious thought if I start seeing fish jump out of the water.

The first photo is of the newly build Matagarup Bridge which gives pedestrians access to the Optus Stadium. The Matagarup Bridge is a suspension pedestrian bridge crossing over the Swan River in Perth.
The second is the Narrows Bridge for the freeway and railway crossing of the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. Made up of two road bridges and a railway bridge.

Nice shot of an awesome structure, Glimmerman. My wife and I have been there a few times. The lodge at Hawk's Nest Park is a great place to stay . . . you can take a boat ride and get within decent camera view of the bridge from below. And by all means, take the bridge walk tour. It's around $60 each but very worth it. Attached is a shot of my backside from an overlook on Long Point Trail. Again, nice capture!
