Your so wright, they can be so illusive blending in with there environment. Good shooting !!

Perfect example, it took me three trips around the tree to see this one, after someone told there was a owl in that palm tree.

Way off schedule but I don't really care. I finally finished the video from the Smokie Fall Color trip. I had a few nights with not much to do, so I just buried myself in editing. I had a little fun poking at the trends in landscape photography YouTubers at the beginning...a friend dared me to...enjoy.

You may consider contacting the Tenn bureau of tourism, I think they may like the footage you captured, for advertising why the Smokey Mtns are called the Smokey Mtns.

Thanks.

Yeah, I can't figure out what that is. It was not there in my early versions as I work through the edit, then it just appeared. It is not in the timelapse footage and I can't find anything in the Premiere File...and it renders everytime now...so...I had to give up on it, I could not find ANYTHING that was causing it. Kinda annoying, it is a bit of a ghost.

Have you been approached yet/sponsor offered? Just a matter of time. The whole series should be purchasable on your website....purchase via PayPal and download the ones interested in or maybe a whole package deal.
Living where I am now downloading a whole youtube vid, even 10 min's long is costly. Someday I'll have to knock on your door with a thumb drive better for videos :(

The national parks are not known for paying for stuff and there are usually on staff creative that help do stuff like this. Not a bad idea to talk to the state.

Lol...no. No one is looking to sponsor and I am actually just fine with doing this for myself...I will have to load them all up on a drive and send to you....

The massive rock face reminded me of a waterfall. I've been inspired by Albert Bierstadt paintings lately.

My neighbor has a bush full of these vibrant, yellow flowers. I have no idea what kind of flowers they are. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I found out that these flowers are called "Yellow Bells"

Taken with my Sony ZV-1.

Another awesome panning shot! It has a certain graphic design quality with sharp angles. Almost like a poster.

Thanks, that was the allure to this spot, the pan makes all of the colors of the walls and building into simple graphic elements, and then to have the fluid car in the middle. Thanks for noticing that!

So so good! The light, atmosphere, composition - amazing shot

Edit - I just noticed this was with the FE55. What’s your hiking kit then? Anything in addition to the 16-35GM and FE55?

I do appreciate that Eddie!

Usually my kit is 16-35 GM, FE 55, and FE 100-400 GM. I don’t use the long lens that often. This is for when I’m hiking to a new area. For areas I have been to before, I use the Batis 18 and Loxia 21 instead of the wide angle zoom.
