From the front yard. Poof captain'd the canoe to let me shoot. Found this KF
way upstream almost where it gets too shallow to navigate.

This is a striking shot, Robert! Belted Kingfishers have been quite difficult for me capture. They are not at all easy to approach. The yellow fall leaves add much to the overall appeal of the shot!

Picked up my new EOS R5 yesterday afternoon, so I walked back to the car through the Roma Street Parklands, to find me a few obligatory ducks to baptise the camera with.

Canon RF100-500mm lens.
