I'm also intrigued about what I don't see in this image. A horse trail perhaps? A railroad line cutting between the rocks?

Looks like you're working your way ever closer to Royal Gorge too. I wonder if the train that follows the river is still running or if the Royal Gorge Bridge is open too?

Gene, there are horse trails around there. I actually have some shots of horses from a previous trip. Not sure about the railroad line. I’ll need to research Royal Gorge. There is lots of mining history here in Colorado. I’m sure the railroad played a big role in that.

One day i went to the client's house for a family portrait and it keeps misfiring. that's before i know what's the culprit. what i don't like about it is i looked like i don't know what I'm doing

Oh man, I can see that being really frustrating. Thankfully I only shoot casually, not for business, so less potential embarrassment. I am however concerned with this potential issue. I’ll have to keep reading reviews and user impressions as more appear.

I haven't shot this lens in quite some time but I've always loved the smooth rendering of the 25ZM. Might be a perfect companion for the 7C:-)

What is so special about electronic front curtain? I never used it. Don't miss anything. Shutter vibrations, I have Fuji with 1/125 sync speed with a bigger sensor so more shutter travel. Never had any issues using that camera at 1/125 hand held either, no IS mind you. Most of my shots are with external strobes.

I think k the issue is not being able to disable EFCS. Not that it needs it....

I saw that the UK and other countries were getting ready to lock down again...glad you got out to bank some images to work on.

I am still weeding through race car photos...
The 100-400 GM really does so good at the track.

Love the race track stuff, Travis. I could never get shutter speeds that low!

I'm not sure it's going to be too restrictive 'exercise' wise but we'll have to see as the week goes on.

I understand for this little camera but in general, what does EECS buys that everyone raves so much. Mirror vibrations, I don't see them on my GFX50s. It is not the pixel density of A7rIV but still. I wanted to play with my co-workers GFX100 but covid changed those plans. When I got A7rIV and was shooting in the studio, EECS was the first thing to turn off. Mechanical shutter only. I do same with any camera. Maybe it is due to being used to the shutter of old Canon 1dmk2.:)

I don't use it either. I have it turned off on all 3.

Thank Lee! It just takes practice. Lots of practice.
