I had plans to try shooting something else, but the plan got changed due to a new fence being put up preventing access. I was quite pleased that the original idea didn’t work out and was presented with these opportunities.

As mentioned no safety glasses, no safety anything. When moving a large plate via a hoist to another location within the building, they needed something to use as a counter balance. They used several men to sit on the plate to do that job early in the video!! Charles

There are two examples of the class surviving, only one still running I believe. Here are a couple of photos of No 6201 "Princess Elizabeth" (built 1931) at speed on the main line.
