This is the Sampaio pool cue made in Lisbon, Portugal my wife bought me for Christmas around 1970. The brass is a bit corroded where the varnish has worn off, there are a couple of chips in the paint, and the tip was replaced once years ago. It probably isn't worth much today but it does have a lot of sentimental value to me.

Seems to be priceless then!

An image from the TSE and A7III.

Probably the biggest test of patience I have had in a while trying to get an image.

Yes, it was digital_AM which I had forever here. I changed it and updated my avatar.

oh wow I hadn't noticed that! really cool detail. I'm obsessed with the design of this controller. They really nailed it....as for the console itself though...wife will not be happy come Nov 12. lol

They shipped the accessories early in the US for some reason. I have the controller, charging dock, and media remote in hand. But they are useless right now aside from giving me something to photograph right now. Getting super antsy since this is usually my peak photography season.

A downside of the internet. When I was a kid the stores here would let you pickup the games/console the day they got them in as no one would know but now people post online if that happens and the retailers get in trouble lol.

I have the 12th and 13th off work so will be spending 4 days playing :D

I ordered the controller directly from Sony so it was officially released early. Kinda weird but maybe they wanted everyone to have the accessories ready when the console arrives.

The internet made the ps5 pre order a spectacle though lol

Perhaps with people having the controllers in hand it will stop a bit of buyers remorse with some people and prevent them cancelling pre-orders as easily.

I am interested in the PS5 too as I’ve owned every previous version but I’ll wait for the price to drop slightly first. Mainly interested in the new Gran Turismo

Finding them, getting a shot, hoping it turned out ok.

Got through some more photos. The A7r4 did ok with the 200-600 I would have liked the A9 but at the same time some of these are huge crops and the 7r4 gives me an advantage there.

What the day showed me was I do want to keep the 100-400. I would have had a better day with the A9 and the 200-600 and the 7r4 with the 100-400 would have covered a lot more shots.
