Thank you very much, fotoi! avondale87 wrote in post #19151269 That's one well fed Quail, and a pretty one too. You're making Quail photography look easy but I think I know a bit better than that ![]() Very nice Thanks so much, Richard. Quail photography really is luck, because if they are approaching me, but not seeing me, I'll get a good shot every time. If, however, I move or try to get close to them, I have no chance at all. They are gone in a heartbeat. Thank you, Paul. Many thanks, James. He is a wild bird, but apparently he gets plenty to eat. LD, or Mike

avondale87 thanks for whoever started this More info | Nov 13, 2020 20:38 | #68098 Borbet wrote in post #19151363 ... Lovely clean, simple (in truest sense) photo of a beautiful bird clipper_from_oz wrote in post #19151344 Eastern Rosella from today. Also had to crop to 100% which is no problem with this new R5. Second shot was the out of camera "before" RAW. WHilst I always cropped hard on my 50MP 5DSR a 100% crop tended to need a lot more work to bring it under control. Especially in regard to ISO noise showing at a 100% crop. Even at lower 800 ISO I would have really struggled to get it looking ok . Canon have really got the better of this with this new sensor. Gorgeous. You're bringing us some magnificent images Clipper. jimmy_racoon wrote in post #19151332 Wonderful colors and detail, Richard Love the angle on the corner bricks, too Thanks James for your kind comments robamy wrote in post #19151278 My first shot of the female Evening Grosbeak.
