Digital Speed Challenge #629: It makes you smile

Choose anything this week that makes you smile ranging from an exposure made at the moment you lost your footing, a loved one's face with jam from ear to ear or an amusing sign in a shop window


This challenge begins when posted, and ends on Monday, 16 November at midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

It was not apparent to me until I looked at all the entries seriously that a title had an impact on my decision process. If I had known beforehand, I would have said so. Sadly therefore, "1/100 • f/11 • ISO 640" (and no camera make/model) did not cut the mustard! Nevertheless, I did smile at roses75's shot. Shots by Levina, Ltdave, rwmson & dilorenzo1954 all made me look at them several times. Eventually it was a tussle in my mind between dilorenzo1954 abd rwmson; I would like to make them equal winners but I guess I have to make a choice. The winner this week is dilorenzo1954
