I've seen some big military-type trucks with lots of seats at the back parked by the resort below, presumably to take groups of tourists up there. And there is a house near the top, inhabited by I don't know who but could be a ranger as it is a national park with many rare species of plants. The views from the top are wonderful.

(I'm not sure if the picture shows it clearly, but this is taken from a switchback.)

Here is another road near the one I posted a picture of a couple of days ago. This one goes up Mount Mensura, the highest peak in that area. For some unknown reason, in the three trips I made there I never saw anybody driving on it.

Even if you could get a ride up there, it's better to walk if your feet can take it, You'll have time to savor the scenery along the way.
