L mount or M mount?

Do L mount lenses adapt perfectly to the M mount or not?

I currently ave several L mount cameras and looking to get an M6 next year

about to buy Voigtlander/zeiss glass and I see they have it in both L mount and M mount, Could I get it in L mount then adapt it to M mount with no issues? (35mm and 50mm)

Depending on the adapter, you will get RF focusing and even exiff metadata.
stay away from the cheap adapters on EBay (mainly from China or any unknown brand)
Leitax are superb, but expensive

You will better off getting factory installed unless you have been mounting L lenses in another system. Some voigts and Zeiss are coded for M system and the 'native" mount will make the rf work properly
