Grey Fantail, Cranky Fan ~ Rhipidura albiscapa
A couple have built a nest in this shed and I blundered in and there they were.
They build the most exquisite nest but I daren't go there for a photo.
I'll get one when they depart
This one flits about as they do, but with a bit more urgency when I'm passing by

Mm, looks cranky.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Mallard hen looking like it was yelling at me, but it was actually busy skimming something off the surface of the water.

This image, one of many I took of these birds in CR, was just ok sharp with some noise in original RAW. I just processed it with Topaz De Noise and Topaz Sharpen in addition to some LR adjustments and am impressed. The first time around it was less sharp and more noisy.

It is a wonderful pic! I've never tried Topaz - maybe time to give it a try.

I think you can try it for free. I am liking it. I bought a set of three, Denoise, sharpen, and gigapixel. There are others too. They work either standalone or inside LR or PS.

Ed that's very nice.
Beautiful colours and detail.

There's been posts here lauding Topaz and I agree.
It is very good at its job.
Archibald I'd encourage a trial.
I don't use the default settings but each photo is treated accordingly.

Count me among those who use and recommend Topaz DeNoise. Terrific software.
