I should but one of the few things I would like to do would be the content aware fill which is not there in the older versions.

Cs6 has content aware, as an example, if you shot a pano and you have to fill in some empty space at top or bottom, you would use content aware to do so.

I also have LR5.7. Only thing it can't process Sony/GFX files. How do you do it?

I've been using Adobe DNG converter. Also I was recently told that 2020 Adobe bridge is also free to down load, and it has a DNG converter built in so all you do is put in bridge and export as DNG.
** full disclosure** I haven't tried to use Adobe bridge myself, as I already have Adobe DNG converter.

If you decide to go this route double check to see if either can convert GFX files. A lot of folks with Canon's Cr3 files have been using Adobe DNG converter

I don't know if it's a free download or not but I'm using Adobe Bridge 2021 and it does export to dng. Here's an example on a Cr3 raw file.

Staying with Sony but I've just ordered a EM1X and a ED 100/400

It's for when a bird keeps coming and my FE 600f4 +1.4tc is just too long a reach i can quickly grab the EM1X and keep shooting and zooming back 200/800 field of view is ideal and it has bird detect that appears to be very good .

I mostly shoot birds and had a EM1X before but the tracking for birds was a bit hit and miss compared with Sony so it will be interesting to see if this new bird detect works .
Rob.

Thanks. I do have Capture One Pro so covered there. Right now with C1 I have no speed issues running everything from external USB 3.2 2-disk box and my older computers. Camera A7rIV and GFX50s. I was thinking of upgrading the PC but spent that $2k on TSE lenses.:)

Thanks Lee. I also took the pano in portrait but I must have messed that up as Affinity can only find 2 images to stitch from 9. Back to the drawing board for that one and try again.

So my Large Format experience continues.... I finally produced some good negatives...... but found a light leak.... GRRRRR

In other news

The Sigma 105 is now officially my new favorite lens. I absolutely love it, the only drawback is no stability in the lens but that is not a big issue. I recommend it highly over the sony 90. I think it is better at holding focus and searches just about as much (typical macro lens issue)

Some shots from yesterday
