that's a fine looking lens, what do the pictures look like?

The pictures used to look pretty decent back in the day. I haven’t had any of my film developed yet. Hopefully I can still take a nice photo using this setup.ߙ

Today it finally dawned on me. We hardly watch much TV anymore. And then, there it was, the answer. Historically we always watched TV for entertainment. Still lots of stuff on TV, but for us, it seems to lack one thing, Entertainment. Fortunately there are still lots of old movies being shown as well as old TV series. We do record them to watch, the entertaining ones. Youtube seems to be something we utilize more and more. When our Dishnet obligation is over, well it will be nice to save that money for other things.:-D:-D

I know what you guys are saying. From the neck up, I’m in my 30s. Neck down, I’d rather not talk about it. Was doing fine up until last September. Got involved in a 3 car accident. Major concussion. Now having memory issues. I can remember stuff that happened when I was in high school but can’t remember what happened 2 days ago. I have to look at cameras and try to figure out how to use them. According to police, I got lucky. Got my birthday next week, and the way things happened when I was 66, I sure as hell hope I have a nice, quiet 67. Getting old is not for the faint of heart.

Sorry to hear about your accident Eddie! As for memory? Mine was bad when I was in my 20s and is worse than ever now in my mid 70s! I too can remember things from back when, but yesterday? I too struggle and I am being serious for once.

As for age? I am sure that I was born old and I swear that I'm about 16 from the neck up and going on 90 from the neck down?

And as for the 'haunted fish tank' (or TV as you call it Terry) We just have Freview terrestrial channels and we watch almost completely Talking Pictures. They broadcast loads of old films. Everything from the 30s through to the 60s and 70s. There's some good stuff on there. One of the recent ones was Tiger Squadron, John Wayne. Great stuff!

Soaps? I like them so much that I record everyone that I can then play them back when we go out. That was I get the satisfaction of missing them twice 8-)

And lastly Terry there's the ols saying

Growing old is obligatory, but growing up is optional. So why grow up? I added that last bit

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

I've been watching some episodes of "The Honeymooners" on YouTube. During its first run, I was too young to appreciate how well done it was. Just a couple of examples: When Gleason and Carney work together in a scene, their timing and body language are perfectly adjusted to each other. Meadows says so much, wordlessly, with her face. The pacing is always good.

Yes, a most fun and enjoyable series to watch. They all worked so well together. Last night, on Perry Mason, Angie Dickinson showed up, she looked as though she had just graduated from high school. Great memories there. I always knew that if she had been younger and I had been older we could have gone to the Prom together, as she grew up just down the road from me. :-):-):-)

So you raise your kids than have the honor of spoiling your grandkids. Than one day you have to bury one of them. There are no words to describe the pain.
Will miss you Dearly for ever babygirl. Goodbye Brittany.

Terry, nobody needs that kind of sadness. I'm sorry it happened in your family.

Sure the aging process is no fun in mid 50's and causes occasional discomfort such as sore feet, hips and back. It didn't stop me from purchasing 2 new lenses. I have to pace myself and learn or access my current walking limits and set new ones. Get up and stretch in the morning and before bed and if possible middle of the day.
