40mm panorama

***
Great scenery and tones as always Lee. I can almost hear the rustle of leaves.
Looks like it might be the perfect spot to meet Robin Hood and Little John too.

I hesitate to say it, but the cut log in the foreground is a bit distracting, I love that light over it to the right and the tunnel view down the path...so I don't know what I would have done any different...just an observation. Yes. I get what you are saying. I liked the ferns around it and the fact it's been cut from the end of the big trunk to the right....

I really wished I setup a tripod with a TSE to get this right but this thing starts collapsing the moment it comes out. So quick dusting of powdered sugar and some maple syrup and ready to eat after taking 2-3 shots. It was a cloudy morning so sun was added using AD600 and 7" reflector with 1/4 CTO getl. I was waiting for the sun to just get high enough for a sunstar through the Cypress Tree. Once I got it...I packed up and that was the end. A lie in...is that sleeping in? navydoc wrote in post #19165883 I really like the reflections and ripples. I suppose because that's the way I'm used to seeing them in real life. I love boring everyone here with photos from my humdrum life, it makes everyone else's seem exciting by comparison. ![]() Thanks Gene. There are times that I leave the ripples and texture in the water, when it adds to the scene and not distract...this one was a time to leave them in. Website

The Friday after Memorial Day 1997, I lost both of my parents to a drunk driver. You don’t get over it but, it does get easier. My thoughts and prayers are for you and your family that you may find peace and calm and celebrate his life for who he will always be in your heart along with the precious memories that will help guide you through life. Though my parents were taken from me twenty three years ago, I celebrate their memory on a daily basis and continually strive to be as good and caring to everyone I know and meet as my parents were to me.
