That's groaning from lack of care!
Interesting construction

Given the bicycle in front, is that place still being lived in? I hope not.

Squatters.

Reminds me many-many years ago one of the upscale hotels in Seaport, San Diego was remodeling some rooms on the upper floors. I randomly punched some of the buttons to see what those top floors may look like. When the elevator doors opened, there was a sign posted floor closed. Being young and curious I went past the sign and down the hall where several of the room doors further down the hall were open. The hall cameras had been covered due to the work and some were not even mounted.

One of the rooms was nearly done so I wandered inside to see how those big $$ suite rooms were. This wasn't the top floor but maybe 2 down. Needed a magnetic key to access the very top floor. Pretty much everything was in place and nearly ready except there was no TV , chairs and other furniture wasn't placed. The beds were there. No towels or other usual stuffs obviously. The bathroom had running water and TP. The work crew might be using it while up there was my thought.

Was sitting there enjoying the view thinking, maybe I could have squatted there overnight. I'd get dinged for the parking but still. Being the non adventurous type I didn't want the potential drama of being caught. That and my stuff was already at the room I'd checked into cross town.

Roof is still there, a very small amount of cleaning and it is good to live in again!

That sounds pretty good, lol.

I was following behind a homeless guy and I watched him walk right in the front door of this particular place. It's not uncommon, though I haven't spent much time in the city this year (been traveling). Before they took down many of the abandoned houses, I haven't noticed nearly as much as 2007-2011. Now you can find an entire city block with only 2-3 houses. On a map Detroit is quite large. Relatively speaking, nobody lives there.

Sorry David - I don't. I will have to re visit sometime. It's about an hour drive from home.
