I grabbed a handful of roses yesterday to get me through today's snowy weather. I picked up a couple Godox AD200-Pro lights several weeks back and decided to give them a try today.

I haven't used it much yet, but when I have used it I've been pretty satisfied. I'll be honest and say I feel like a novice with lights. I actually only need lights during one event that I shoot every fall. I decided to take the plunge with the godox line because of recent sales and something new to learn without a huge investment.

The AD200 Pro is pretty solid when you compare it to something like the Canon 600ex flash. Plus you have options with it that you don't have with a hot shoe flash. I've read that people have had issues with the battery, but it seems like the solution is to store the unit with the battery removed.

The weak link to me is the trigger. It feels pretty cheap and plastic compared to the flash units itself.
