I just did the same thing! Love my 6D still but the AF is a shocking improvement. I was pretty good with focus on the 6D. It almost feels like cheating on the R. Can't imagine what the R6 and R5 are like. The 135 on an R would be heaven. THAT was a challenge on the 6D.

I had the 6D and got the R. When I saw some were getting great results with the 135L, and I knew I was getting the R6, I got a used one. WOW! The R6 with the 135 are unbelievable.

Today's photos remind me of just how good this camera is. I can focus wherever I want. I wouldn't have been able to capture these so well without that function. I didn't crop at all on the second shot, and the first I just turned into a 4:3 aspect ratio because I liked it more.

I found these deer in the park near my home. Happy New Year everyone!

Two more if anyone is interested :-)

Sigh, maybe one day I will actually get a whole image instead of excerpts of one -?

There's something about these photos that make them very nice
Everything seems to complement the other parts of the image.
Beautifully photographed and two happy youthful people to boot.
Love that ginger hair, but I'm biased :p. Mine was never that long though :-P
