This Cooper's Hawk made a appearance in my backyard on Christmas morning. Sure cleared out the other birds and squirrels from around the birdfeeder

Yes they are rather prevalent.
But this is one of a family of 6 that have become used to my presence and we have Photo Shoots
They are very obliging and curious birds now in their more tamed mode. (well tame with me )
The other day I was weeding and throwing the stuff over the fence (that's what you do with weeds - relocate them ), then suddenly there was a commotion over the fence and all 6 had rushed up to see what was happening.

After I wrote my post I was wondering/thinking perhaps it is the same one you photograph multiple times!

There's 6 so probably these I post are any of them.
I can't tell them apart. Males and females are the same too so no idea who's who

that would be idyllic
I'm not sure I've seen them eat anything other than grass which they devour nonstop.
They are supposed to eat seed, but by then that's a bit late re weeding.
