Love my Garden Birds, keeps me sane in these difficult times.

EOS R and Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C + Canon 1.4x Extender

Still struggling getting these sort of shots with this EOS R compared to 7D2.

Sorry, a bit late getting this one posted . . .

On November 15th, 2020, SpaceX launched four astronauts to the International Space Station aboard the Dragon Capsule on top of the Falcon 9 rocket. This was the first operational launch of astronauts from the US since the retirement of the Space Shuttle. A "test flight" was launched with two astronauts was launched earlier in the year, but that was considered a "shakedown flight" and not an operational mission. This image was captured from the small boat harbor in Titusville, Florida where the night launch produced a great streak shot image. Clearly seen in the top center of the image is the planet Mars, watching our progress towards our first manned visit.

Had a short window to grab a fast moving sunset tonight. Just some open space near by on the way home from work. Still not the best location and still has obstructions in the foreground.

Also jpeg edits :-?

Last remnants of sunset at Lake O' the Pines. This area has benefitted from a concerted effort to clean up areas of the shore. I hadn't been to this particular spot for almost 10 years.

Shot with the RF 24-240

You are getting some lovely long exposures, Mr. Scott. It gives the photo a very calm feel.

Here's one I shot a little over a month ago. Unfortunately, with flickr, I can't share an appropriate size. I got a 4k monitor for Christmas, so now 1024 x 576 seems a little small, but the next option up is too big. I uploaded a full sized photo to flickr--30mp is fun for shots like this (although after a 16:9 crop, it's more like 24mp).

So stoked to be published in a magazine! I know they look a little overdone, but the download for the magazine was low quality so I did run them through TopazLabs Gigapixel and Sharpen AI.
