I am really loving this sigma 105. I think it is my favorite lens. Its just comfortable and easy to use in macro or landscape

Can't beat a dual use lens :-)

I sort of feel the same with the Contax 80-200/4 It does the usual landscapes, portraits, woodlands but as it'll focus down to 1m at 200mm you can get pretty close to subjects.

Your color toning has been very consistent on these foggy images Lee. Do you have your own color toning preset or do you do it from scratch for each image?

Another winner shot by the way.

Ummmm, I have two main presets. One for woodland & general everyday images & another for brighter more colourful landscape/coastal type of images. Although they are both reasonably similar I guess rather than at opposite extremes. I still tweak each image though to suit & I spend more time with adjustment brushes than I do anything else.

Thank you btw :)

Today I took Bodie up to our local foothills for his first time. It's only about a mile away from home. I'd say he was stoked but definitely a little nervous as he was right under my feet the whole time! :-P It's been a long time since I've had an energetic pup to take up there. I raised our last guy up there for over 15 years. His last few years he was unable to make the treck...just too old. Looking forward to lots of years of hikes with Bodie!

I really like the dog height perspective.

Another beauty. I do wish the brighter 3 sticks at the bottom were 'burned' some so they weren't so prominent though.
