Going to St Marks NWR this weekend with my new 100-400mm L II. Understand this is one of the best birding places in the Southeast US. Anyone with recent experience at this NWR is invited to suggest particular spots such as eagle nesting sites.

Candor Goldmember More info Post edited over 2 years ago by Candor. | Feb 05, 2021 17:19 | #3 I have never heard of this place either and I go to Florida every year for a week, exclusively for bird photography. Maybe it's a secret gem that no one on the internet speak of in order to keep it to themselves.

Orogeny Goldmember More info | Feb 06, 2021 09:15 | #4 It has been many years since I was there, but it really is a great birding location. I found bald eagles in several places and lots of hawks throughout the refuge. There is an area of trees that is supposed to be good for songbirds, but I didn't have time to spend there so I can't comment on that. There's someone in my head, but it's not me! - Roger Waters
