joeseph "smells like turd" ![]() More info | Dec 05, 2020 22:14 | #2 Not sure about common, but a couple of years back my IR-converted 1D2 got borrowed by the local museum folks to photograph an Egyptian sarcophagus to try & record some very faded hieroglyphs. Was a very cool experience as I got to watch how they work & hopefully they've forgiven me for breaking a boom stand! some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Feb 06, 2021 11:16 | #4 Perhaps not particularly commercial but there are loads of uses in forensics. ![]() ![]() ![]() It can show subcutaneous features including tattoos that have been removed, veins...
