This was taken from the Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area. It gives a nice view of the foothills just south and west of Calgary.

Got the bike back from the shop after its mid-winter tune up, snapped off a few pictures while it still looks all spiffy, before it starts picking up that road grit.

Caddo Lake State Park in January. Most people commenting on this image on social assume there is snow. It is just how this place looks with a long focal length on an overcast winter day. The bark and moss turn gray.
