Another more affordable AF option is the excellent Canon EF 16-35mm F/4L. It’s one of my all-time favorite lenses - even on a Sony camera. I’d like to buy another one for myself.
I have zero plans to sell my Loxia kit, but lens changes are really brutal if you’re shooting from a tripod and using ND filters - it’s just way way too much fiddly crap to deal with.
I am done with adapters for anything other than a TSE..I will need the f/2.8 for astro since the Batis 18 will go...and f/4 just doesn't cut it in that arena for me.
I just find I end up "faffing about too much" as some call it...I end up missing the moment or not having the FL I want or need and don't want to drag a donkey along to carry my camera bag. Down to 2 lenses, maybe the 70-200 if the hike is not too hard and I can still bring the other things I need to accomplish what I want to.

Finally got round to watching this Travis, good work. As well as being quite relaxing, it is also nice as people can get to know you a little more through your videos.

Thanks for checking it out. Yep, a couple recent videos feature my ugly mug a bit more and are some insight into who I am and how I see photography.
