Would you like to buy a vowel?

Feb 10, 2021 06:56 | #6147 I was going for a pure white background and this was actually one of my test shots with my wife standing in while I dialed in the settings before the model arrived. I'm partial to her smile on this shot but that's just a personal thing. A light meter is needed for sure.

windpig Chopped liver More info | I expose the background til it goes red in the middle with histogram (no subject in the frame), I then put a subject in the frame with a white towel over the face and do the same thing. This is after I ballpark with a meter. keeping the background as close to 256 around the head, letting the rest of the BG go under exposed, then increasing the under exposed parts in post processing. I can post some samples later tonight if you are interested. Would you like to buy a vowel?
